Study Spot is an app that will allow users to gain insight into how crowded their favorite library, coffee shop, or preferred study spot is. This app will provide ample opportunities for study groups, business advertising and provide discounts and coupons for users. Study Spot’s target market is college students because they study often. A subset of UW-Madison’s population indicated that 66% of students study 11+ hours a week and most of that studying happens at a library. Consumers will no longer have to commute all the way to the library only to find that there are no spots available. Study Spot will also allow for students to connect with others that are studying the same subject, helping facilitate group study sessions.
